Working for HRDC, Human Resource Development Canada as a Client Payment Advisor
I graduated from Salisbury High School in 1968 and then proceeded to teacher's training at Community College in Moncton, N. B. I went for 2 years and graduated with my teaching licence and then got hired back at Salisbury School by Al Kavanaugh, then the principal, for a high school teacher. I taught Business Education for one year, plus night school. I left after one year and went with the government and as of now I have 33 years in. I have about 2 years to go and can retire with 35 years of service. I have two sons. One graduates this year, 2004, and the other son works at Toys for Big Boys as a mechanic.
I am a widow, as of 1986, when my husband died, I was 7 months pregnant with my son that is graduating this year. He was born on our anniversary date. I am still single, and looking forward to retirement.
