JMA Idol
was a huge success. All participants worked really hard and
did a great job! Congratulations goes out to Brianna Colpitts,
our 2010 JMA Idol and to Logan Harrison as our runner up. Thank
you to all who helped out to make it a wonderful evening.
JMA Receives Community Star Award
At Old Government House this week, our Teens Against Drinking
and Driving (TADD) group was honoured to receive the Community
Star Award. During Addictions Awareness Week this recognizes
those who contribute to the Health and Wellness of a community.
The Award Luncheon, hosted by our Lieutenant Governor, was
attended by J.M.A. TADD representatives, Mrs. Heather MacDonald,
students Morea Reveen and Jessica Whittle. The awarded plaque,
signed by the Minister of Health is on display at our school.
